The annual TELY 10 Mile Road Race will once again kick off in Paradise. The TELY 10 is Newfoundland's premier road race, and is believed to be the third oldest road race in Canada and one of the oldest in North America.
The 2018 Tely 10 Mile Road Race is scheduled for Sunday, July 22. The Tely 10 starts in the Town of Paradise and runs through Mount Pearl and St. John's.
As part of the Race, residents and participants are advised of the following road closures in Paradise:
- McNamara Drive is closed from 6:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
- Topsail Road, from St. Thomas Line to Paradise Road, is closed from 6:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
- Topsail Road, from Paradise Road to Kenmount Road access, is closed from 7:50 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Please note that traffic will not be permitted on or across the above noted sections of road during the outlined times. The Town of Paradise apologizes for any inconvenience these closures may cause.
