The Town of Paradise Municipal Enforcement Officers (MEO) in conjunction with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) conducted patrols throughout the Town this weekend focused on illegal use of All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) and dirt bikes. As a result of the patrols, five tickets were issued for illegal use of ATVs within Paradise.
In the Town of Paradise, the use of motorized vehicles such as ATVs and dirt bikes is permitted only in designated areas of the T’Railway (McNamara Drive West to the Paradise / CBS boundary).
Residents are reminded that the Town and the RNC have increased patrolling measures throughout the community to enforce compliance with the Motorized Snow Vehicle and All-Terrain Vehicles Act. Failure to comply with these rules and regulations may result in fines and / or vehicle impoundment.
All reports of non-compliance can be directed to Town of Paradise Municipal Enforcement Officers at (709) 782-1400 or the RNC at (709) 729-8000.
