Councillor Willis receives Canada 150 Sesquicentennial Pin

St. John’s East MP Nick Whalen presented Councillor Sterling Willis with a Canada 150 Sesquicentennial Pin. This presentation was part of Canada 150 Celebrations, where Liberal Members of Parliament across the country are recognizing outstanding individuals with the limited-edition pin, made of copper from the roof of the Parliament of Canada.

MP Whalen made presentations to community leaders to who have made exceptional contributions and to recognize the themes of diversity and inclusion, reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, environment, and youth.
