Christmas Card Contest Winner

The 2016 Town of Paradise Christmas Card was designed by six year-old Alexa Bishop, a Grade 1 student at Paradise Elementary.

Alexa's drawing was selected from over 420 entires for the design a Christmas Card contest. This is the second year the Town has held the contest. It was open to Kindergarten to Grade 6 students living in Paradise.

"On behalf of Council, I thank each and every student who took the time to draw a design and submit an entry," said Mayor Dan Bobbett. "Alexa did a great drawing and we are proud to use it as the 2016 Town Christmas Card."

At the December 20 regular Council Meeting, Mayor Bobbett presented Alexa with a plaque of her design and her prize as the winning submission.
